Honestly don't recall doing anything. The pop-up failure notification seemed random. But I had just successfully opened a program.

I was working with GIMP, and when I closed the program, the notifier was sitting underneath. I am not sure what had prompted the notifier.

Not fixed. I'm still getting bamf crashes with the latest updates after a reboot.

D'accord, Eric Appleman! Loaded and installed the update just a few minutes ago. Restartet two times. After that loaded jEdit, changed an option, closes it - and here it is again. If i remember right, it was the same case a few hours ago... But not always reproducable with jEdit. I'll keep this in mind...

@Julian: did you restart bamfdeamon (or you session) after the upgrade?
We just need to ensure that after the full upgrade, someone restarted his session to ensure he's on the new code.

Happened to me while :

1) was minimizing firefox
2) at the same time, evolution icon in launcher was moving to say a new mail arrived

After that, the launcher shows two evolution icons (that both show the same evolution window when clicked on).

Happened to me after latest upgrade this morning... system restarted. Both times its happened I have been working with Libre Office. Ended up with two Text Editor icons in the dock for the same open file. Shut the file and both icons disappeared. Also Two Skype Icons, one of which is unresponsive. All other dock icons respond as they should. Logout and Login again gets everything up and running again.

Happened to me just now.
Was seeing a streaming video on uefa.com. When I made it fullscreen, after 10 second into the video, the image stopped and the audio kept going. Couldn't use "esc" to exit full-screen so I did alt-tab. After that there was teens of gwibbler icons on the launcher bar and each with its own crash handler window.
