Bug Description

Background dot pattern should extend all the way to the edge of the screen.

Currently at some resolutions the dot pattern stops before it should, before reaching the edge (the gap between the dot pattern ending and the edge of the screen is large enough to fit in one more row or column of dots.

See attached image "logindots1.png" (the dots are a bit difficult to see in this photo, so you might need to zoom in to the photo a bit)

The implementation trims the dots to match what was shown in the mockups. At certain resolutions there are lines of dots very close to the right and bottom screen borders that are visually distracting. If the dots are centered then the logo is insconsistently positioned.

In talking with design the outcome on this is we will put one dot in the center of the screen, and spread the grid out from that. The user list is left aligned on the first grid point that is at least one grid width from the edge.

Why are the dots even there in the first place?
They're no on the desktop wallpaper, so why should they be there in the greeter?
That is just inconsistent!

Please remove the useless dots all together.
What's the point of the grid pattern, it just clutters.
