Console is visible and overwrites on screen ICS UI

The bootargs being flashed seem to be "console=tty0 console=ttyO2,115200n8 rootwait ro earlyprintk fixrtc nocompcache vram=48M omapfb.vram=0:24M,1:24M mem=456M@0x80000000 mem=512M@0xA0000000 init=/init androidboot.console=ttyO2"

If we remove "console=tty0" we don't see the console logs curropting the framebuffer. Is there a specific reason for having it in bootargs ?

You're the Android experts so if you don't think it's needed, it's
probably just leftovers from when someone created the Android board
configs. It is explicit on a lot of the boards, is it a problem for
all of them?

"console=tty0" is not needed, Can we remove it. It is causing porblem on panda . I am not sure on other boards. But this is not needed since "console=ttyO2,115200n8" is the right console.

Confirmed with l-i-t 2011.12. The merged changes doesn't fix the bootargs:
setenv bootargs "console=tty0 console=ttymxc0,115200n8 rootwait ro
earlyprintk rootdelay=1 fixrtc nocompcache di1_primary tve init=/init
androidboot.console=ttymxc0

looking closer the merged code, console=tty0 was removed only on Panda config.
It should be done for Mx53LoCoConfig as well.
