Bug Description

In Stellarium 0.11.3 Windows logo key (Windows keyboard key) does not work, so I could not switch to Windows and other programs. When that key is pressed Stellarium 0.11.3 hangs for a short time. Even it is difficult to switch to Windows using task manager (pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del many times).

NB: In control panel ( Device manager and system information) I see:
1) ATI Radeon HD 4550 graphic card (working properly)(in addition to mobile intel 4 series Chipset Family), but it is not mentioned in Stellarium log file?
2) Installed memory: 3.00 Go and in the log file 2 Go?

This is not Stellarium bug because we don't use Win-keys. It looks as issues for drivers for graphics card.

Alex, please don't blame everything on the graphics card driver. :)

This is probably yet another manifestation of the "full-screen behaviour on Windows" bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/550337

Pressing the Windows Key is supposed to send Stellarium to the background and bring the Start menu and the taskbar to the foreground.

As a result of the bug, the Stellarium window loses input focus, but still remains visible, covering all of the screen.

I think I could replicate it sometimes on my previous netbook (Windows XP), but I'm not sure if I can on this one (Windows 7).

I detected that this is due to DISABLING DESKTOP COMPOSITION (in Compatibility tab in Propertie's window of "Stellarium.exe") to stop the severe flashing of the screen (Bug #716695)

When I unchecked (unselected) the option [Disable desktop composition], Stellarium screen becomes unstable (Bug #716695) and the logo button works fine! (it sent Stellarium to the background and brought the Start menu and the taskbar to the foreground).

As of 0.14.90 this works, at least on Windows 7. Can we retire this?
