while setting language works in ubuntu touch, currency and date settings are still en_us.UTF-8

i assume just setting LC_ALL alongside with LANGUAGE and LANG will help here

Thanks ogra ... mpt, is the language selector supposed to change those settings as well? I don't seem to find that specified in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LanguageAndText#phone-language
