freedroid not installed into K menu

The desktop file is good.

For the icon:
 1. Where is the icon from?
 2. It seems to be a paletted 256 colors icon but only 3 colors are actually used?
 3. The icon is 32x32 (should be 48x48).

Can you please check upstream (the package seems to be abandoned in Debian) if there is any better icon that can be used?

Since upstream is also now at version 0.10.3, I think it is worth upgrading this package.
Can you please open a new bug report asking for an upgrade and start working on it?
Mind you that this will be for hardy.

3. I thought that xpm icons should be 32x32 (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Packages/DesktopFiles)

If this is not sufficient I will open the bug as you suggested :)

Please read the link you gave carefully, icons for .desktop files should be 48x48 and for Debian menu 32x32.
Since the original is 32x32 though and there is no better leave it as is.
I would however crop the color palette to 3 (4 inc. background) colors only.

There was a bug report about that, so I didn't open another one.

Thats for the Debian menu only (beside, I like your icon better ....).

Is it ok if I comment the Debian bug above attaching the debdiff I made ?

Just add icon and desktop (paste them in your email if you like).
Note that that bug report was issued on Sun, 26 Sep 2004, so I won't hold my hopes that somebody will take care of this there.

So what should I do ? Open a new bug on Debian ? Sorry but I don't know very well how to deal with these things. :)
