By any chance do you mean mono-xsp_1.2.4-1.1ubuntu1? I am doing an upgrade to Gutsy and I received an error message that says:

"Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/mono-xsp_1.2.4-1.1ubuntu1_all.deb'"

In the textview it says:

"subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 2"

Hi,

Eventually I managed to install it from Synaptic but had to kill XSP first. As long as the XSP stuff is active, the install appears not to work correctly.
