Bug Description

any user-specific fonts in Windows are not loaded by inscape

for example, install a font using this tool: http://www.marshwiggle.net/regfont/

OK in latest stable version
KO in 0.98pre2

Windows 32 bit

may be duplicate of bug #168562

Typo? The project Inkscape never distributed such a version - the current pre-release builds are based on 0.91pre2.

Did you download the 32bit or 64bit version of the Inkscape installer? If you are not sure, please share the download URL and the original file name of the installer.

Typo indeed

I did mean 0.91pre2

Inkscape installer is 32bit
DL liink is http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape/files/inkscape/0.91pre2/inkscape-0.91pre2.msi/download

OS is WIndows 7 Pro 64bit

Probably the same issue (native custom Font Managers no longer supported) as tracked in later report:

I'm also a Windows user using nexusfont to temporarily load fonts into memory for design projects.

This issue has me stuck using vs. 0.48. I cannot upgrade to the new versions as a designer without using my font library conveniently - ie. without clogging up windows font directory and filling memory by installing hundreds of fonts to my OS.

So, adding my +1 to please fix this for vs. 0.93 :) Love Inkscape and have a big time investment learning it. Very sad about this issue :(
