fails to build on all big endian platforms in both debian and ubuntu.
Running bisect, points at:

run_tests.sh: use '-o' option. Added tests for '--skeleton' option.
which is not helpful, as that's where the tests that fail got introduced. However, it does mean it's not a regression per-se, and rather was always broken...
The failing tests are:
