The initrd image does not contain awk, so scripts/casper-bottom/23networking fails to translate netboot.config to a proper resolv.conf.

Thanks! I think I prefer to enable the awk applet in busybox, though; a full-scale awk is pretty huge.

i suppose it will take a little while until new isos are released which will have an initramfs including this fix.

what is my best bet to get a fixed initramfs in the meantime?

are there some walkthrough docs for rebuilding the desktop isos or maybe some place with prerelease versions for download like http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ for debian?

thanks a lot
