Bug Description

Binary package hint: vkeybd

In vkeybd desktop file, "/usr/share/icons/vkeybd.xpm" is specified for the program icon. This file is non-existent, the package installs an icon to /usr/share/pixmaps/vkeybd.xpm instead; as a result the menu entry does not have an icon. Probably shouldn't use full path in the desktop file either.

I can confirm this on gutsy final.
What's interesting is that the package does indeed install the file /usr/share/pixmaps/vkeybd.xpm and the .desktop file specifies this file to be in /usr/share/pixmaps but the icon is displayed correctly in the GNOME main menu.

Remarkable. Kubuntu users aren't so fortunate though, no vkeybd icon to be seen on kde.

Please report this upstream and/or to debian and link the bug reports here; we have plenty of time to sync the fix back for hardy.
I'm unsubscribing u-u-s for the time being, please subscribe it back if there is no reaction in a reasonable time from debian or upstream.
