Update Vulkan to 1.0.21.0

Bug 1631462 is also filed with same requirement.

Can we please get an update on when will this be fixed?

Some Vulkan application will fail which are using direct to display apis. These are part of important vulkan extensions.

Please backport 1.0.37 from http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/zesty/vulkan for Xenial and Yakkety. 1.0.37 is confirmed and working according to the https://launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa PPA.

Nope, backports to -updates happen from a stable release, so xenial will get 1.0.21 at this point.

Accepted vulkan into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vulkan/1.0.21.0+dfsg1-1~16.04.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Proposed 1.0.21.0 fixes the bug/issue I mentioned in comment #4.
