Bug Description

REQUIREMENTS:
Hardware with broadcom wifi

STEPS:
1. Download the latest cd iso
2. During the install select install 3rd party drivers
3. This should trigger the installation of bcmwl-kernel-sources

EXPECTED:
I expect the install to install the wifi drivers like it was last week

ACTUAL:
It doesn't install the wifi driver, however when running ubuntu-drivers from the terminal it lists both bcmwl-kernel-sources and intel-microcode but neither are installed on the installed desktop.

Sep 22 15:35:32 ubuntu ubiquity: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dkms/dkms_2.2.0.3-2ubuntu14_all.deb Temporary failure resolving 'archive.ubuntu.com'

So this is quite expected, as this is a network driver. The idea was to ship dkms and bcmwl in the /pool of the CD. apt still apparently knows about it:

Sep 22 15:35:32 ubuntu ubiquity: Get:3 cdrom://Ubuntu 16.10 _Yakkety Yak_ - Alpha amd64 (20160921) yakkety/restricted amd64 iucode-tool amd64 1.6.1-1 [34.5 kB]
Sep 22 15:35:32 ubuntu ubiquity: Get:4 cdrom://Ubuntu 16.10 _Yakkety Yak_ - Alpha amd64 (20160921) yakkety/restricted amd64 intel-microcode amd64 3.20160714.1 [650 kB]

But neither bcmwl nor dkms are in http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/cdimage/daily-live/current/yakkety-desktop-amd64.manifest

Sorry, wrong file -- I meant http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/cdimage/daily-live/current/yakkety-desktop-amd64.list and it actually *is* there. But:

/pool/main/d/dkms/dkms_2.2.0.3-2ubuntu13_all.deb

vs.

Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dkms/dkms_2.2.0.3-2ubuntu14_all.deb Temporary failure resolving 'archive.ubuntu.com'

i. e. the version that the image's apt lists have is newer than the version that the image has in /pool.
