Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-volume-
The auto-opening of xsane is regarded as too intrusive, and actively wrong on multifunction devices, which are quite common nowadays.
We should leave the default command to 'xsane', but disable it by default, so that people can easily enable it if they want it.

default, it is too intrusive and has never worked until recently anyway
