Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

--- fresh-hardy-install/etc/default/gdm
+++ dapper-hardy-upgrade/etc/default/gdm
+# GDM Defaults, source in the init script that starts GDM. LANG setting is
+# taken from the locales package by default.
+#LANG=

If the current hardy init script still evaluates the default file, it should exist on a fresh installation, too. If it does not use the default file any more, it should be removed on upgrade.

This bug was fixed in the package gdm - 2.20.4-0ubuntu3

---------------
gdm (2.20.4-0ubuntu3) hardy; urgency=low

  * debian/gdm.preinst, debian/rules:
    - clean the conffile which was used before for the locales setting
      since the new version uses the system locale definition (lp: #211381)
