Bug Description

Binary package hint: partman-base

Per a chat with cjwatson in IRC [ http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/2008/06/12/%23ubuntu-installer.txt ] it was thought that it may be useful to include a early_command string in partman. This functionality would allow you to have logic for choosing disks or what have you that was simpler than dropping logic into /lib/partman/display.d/00local or the like.

This was fixed some time ago, but the bug accidentally wasn't closed.

partman-base (121ubuntu5) intrepid; urgency=low

  * init.d/parted: Set the sataraid flag for dmraid arrays. This code was
originally in partman-dmraid, which is being retired.

  * Add partman/early_command hook to run arbitrary commands immediately
    before partitioning (LP: #239348).
