Bug Description

Recently I have had a crash in an application. My wireless adapter wasn't connected and Apport couldn't send the report to launchpad.

My wish is to include an option in this window[1] to save the report to a file, so that I can send it later and not to lose it.

[ X Cancel ] [ Send Report ] [ Save report to a file ]

This feature is also useful if I want to run some more tests before I submit the bug report, or if I am not currently able to determine whether it is a duplicate of another bug. I believe this feature could increase the quality of some bug reports.

Running apport from the command line (when X is not available) already has this feature, however, it is not accessible via the GUI.

This would also make apport easier to use in an enterprise setting for hardware testing and quality assurance purposes, where its ability to collect hardware and version information and package it up for analysis elsewhere can be very handy.

Adding a standard 'Send to...' option to send the report via email/im/flash drive would be especially helpful.
