Bug Description

KDE qt-copy patch 0256-fix-recursive-backingstore-sync-crash.diff is needed to fix a problem in Qt's painting code which reveals itself in KDE 4.2.

There's no test case for this I'm afraid, the bug only appears in code used in KDE 4.2, but we've been advised to get this in and 4.2 will be in intrepid-backports at some point.

Jonathan, for SRU bugs please subscribe ubuntu-sru, add devel and stable tasks, and clarify the status of the devel release. For now I assume it's not fixed there.

Testing should verify that the package still works with various KDE applications.
