Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

There is this string:

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/ubuntu-docs/+pots/musicvideophotos/hu/50/+translate
Located in musicvideophotos/C/troubleshooting.xml:21(para)

Rhythmbox can't rip MP3, see <xref linkend="music-missingmetadata"/>

And I don't understand the meaning. How does one "rip MP3"?
Is this about converting an audio CD track to MP3? But Rhythmbox isn't capable of that, IIRC, just playing audio CD.
Or is this about playing an MP3?

Please clarify, either by rephrasing or adding a translator comment.

To "rip" an audio cd means to extract an audio cd to a media format that can be stored on a hard disk. I agree the language is confusing and shouldn't be used.

Although the string you cite is not present in the latest version of ubuntu-docs (because Rhythmbox *is* able to extract audio cds), the word is used in other contexts, so I think the bug is valid.
