Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

When installing Jaunty Beta (both Ubuntu & Kubuntu) I chose Spanish as the installation language.

Before starting to install the packages, the installer recognizes an Internet connection and ask something similar to (in Spanish, though)

"You have a internet connection, would you like to install the rest of the language support (dictionaries, etc.)?"

I clicked "yes", but it started downloading *-en-* packs.

After the installation, this is what I have installed:

The basic system is correctly in Spanish, but no dictionaries, or language support files are installed in Spanish

This seems similar to
#348392 "Shut Down", "Log Out" and "Restart" dialogs doesn't use translated plural confirmation messages

This log says that language-support-es is in fact installed, including such things as wspanish. Please confirm?

The problem here is that, in an attempt to make localisation work as early as possible, and to minimise download time, we install language-pack-es before permitting packages to be installed from the network. I think we need to test later on whether that actually worked, and if not, install it from the network.

    because they aren't on the CD, try again once we have the final
