gnome-app-install crashed with AttributeError in itemIsInstalled()

Confirming, and marking as high importance. It is clear this is a problem.

In the Firefox AddOns window, when you click "Get Ubuntu Extensions" the app install window comes up, this crash happens, and now the user is unable to install any add-on or even close out the app install window. I needed to use a force quit on the window.

Michael, could you please have a look at this?

1) start firefox
2) select Tools menu -> AddOns
3) click "Get Ubuntu Extensions"
4) gnome-app-install starts and eventually crashes

I experienced this today, so clearly it isn't fixed.

gnome-app-install:

I'm not sure, but might be related with the fact that I had synaptic open too?

gnome-app-install   from Terminal see what she says.

If works close all and open from GUI. If she locks up and you

have to force kill you got something wrong. Really should not

though they spent some time and fixed it. You never know with Alpha's.

This also happened to me while Totem was searching for GStreamer codecs to install.

This bug was fixed in the package gnome-app-install - 0.5.60.1ubuntu1
