Bug Description

The new stable upstream release (v.1.2) is ready since 2006-05-07:
http://www.nongnu.org/gcmd/

It comes with some bugfixes, layout changes and a new internal viewer:
http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/gnome-commander/NEWS?view=markup

The stable branch (1.2):
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:<email address hidden>:/cvs/gnome co -rHEAD gnome-commander

The development branch (1.3):
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:<email address hidden>:/cvs/gnome co -rgcmd-1-3 gnome-commander

Please backport gnome-commander from Ubuntu Edgy to Dapper (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS) - this will fix bug #42450 (Menu entry - gnome-commander.desktop is broken in 1.1.7 version)
