Bug Description

Lucid installer AMD64 fails at the "Select and Install software" stage.

The first batch of attachments are for the AMD64 installer.

The second batch is for the i386 installer.

The error occured again, this time while using the guided resizing.

I'll check the disc for defects, just to be sure.

The disc was verified and deemed clean.

However, the installer failed with the i386 version, hence the renaming of the bug. Attached are the installer logs.

Strangely enough, the install on the AMD64 build completed after scanning the disc, but it installed "vanilla" Ubuntu rather than Ubuntu Studio.

Disregard post #14. I had confused the network installer with the actual install. The installation still fails as described above.

Bug status was changed accidentally to Fix Released when I was exploring the system options. I changed it directly back to Fix Committed. Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully I didn't mess this bug up too bad :-P.
