Bug Description

Please backport the qemu x86 emulator. Version 0.8.2 is in the edgy repos, and has a few extra features missing in the dapper version.

Whoops.

I was trying to follow an apparent standard for reporting backport requests, and I think I did something foolish by including that [backport] in the bug title. Temporary lapse in brain cells.
