Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

With previous applications which stores their geometry (gedit, totem), this isn't the case anymore since the update of the new compiz cherry pick (1:0.9.2.1+glibmainloop4-0ubuntu4~ppa1 in the ubuntu-desktop ppa)

Also, some window geometry is totally wrong (like loading an openoffice document). It seems that compiz isn't taking the new resizing request from the application.
