Bug Description

I built gnucash 2.0.2 myself with ofx and hbci since the one in the package manager doesn't include this feature. However when I run the setup I get this crash in aqbanking, which I didn't build, just installed from Synaptic.

From http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up_OFXDirectConnect_in_GnuCash_2:

You must have Libofx 0.8.2 or higher and AqBanking 2.0.0 or higher to user OFXDirectConnect in Gnucash

Looking at my configuration, looks like I have libofx 0.8.0 - I'll try compiling libofx from source to get a later version.

I've marked 2 other bugs as dupe of this bug, the all seem to be the same bug to me. I couldn't see this on my feisty/amd64 box, so it would be great if someone else could also confirm that this has been fixed in feisty.

Reinhard Tartler (siretart) wrote : [SRU] libaqbanking ready for testing in edgy-proposed

Packages for libaqbanking are now ready for testing in
edgy-proposed. To test the new packages, please add 'edgy-proposed' to
your sources.list, and install qbankmanager. You'll see a couple of
packages with the version number 2.0.0-3build1~prop1 installed. Please
test them with qbankmanager. We need a couple of confirmation for having
them included into edgy-updates.

Thanks for the fixes, I tried the ~prop1 packages on Edgy and qbankmanager works fine, including the creation of an HBCI account and communication with the bank.

should be fixed in feisty. please reopen if it isn't. The issue was solved by just recompiling the libaqbanking package.
