Bug Description

Binary package hint: kubuntu-default-settings

I have both Ubuntu & Kubuntu installed.
I did:
>sudo apt-get update
>sudo apt-get upgrade ---> got a lot of packages for upgrade
>sudo apt-get dist-upgrade --> got about 10 more packages
rebooted

Got the problem at login

The same problem here. (but in Catalan XD).

S'està configurant kubuntu-default-settings (1:11.04ubuntu8)…
update-alternatives: s'ha produït un error: l'alternativa /etc/newt/palette.original per a newt-palette no està registrada, no s'estableix.
dpkg: s'ha produït un error en processar kubuntu-default-settings (--configure):
 el subprocés s'ha instaŀlat el script post-installation retornà el codi d'eixida d'error 2
S'han trobat errors en processar:
 kubuntu-default-settings

Same thing here- Run apt-get update & upgrade several times until got:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 kubuntu-default-settings
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

This bug was fixed in the package kubuntu-default-settings - 1:11.04ubuntu9

  * Use the new default virtual terminal color palette instead of forcing the
    original one. (LP: #739943)
  * Depend on libnewt0.52 to make sure that the newt-palette alternatives are
    registered.
