crash when saving .run file (shell script)

Does it always happens; I mean, can you reproduce the bug? I've followed the steps w/o problems (ofcourse I haven't downloaded that huge file, 397Mb, to the end).

no it doesn't happen always, but it happens often (once a week?). i can't reproduce this bug on will. maybe it is not connected with .run files, it happend for some movie files also.

If you can follow the instructions (install firefox-gdb and eliminate plugins, extensions and non-default themes) on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox it will be of great help for us in tracking down your problem.

However, what firefox extensions do you have installed?

well, i don't know whether it wouldn't be too difficult for me, but i can try it. here's list of my extensions:

adblock plus
add bookmark here
dotcomplete
mouse gestures
no squint
nuke anything enhanced
smartsearch
tab mix plus
ui tweaker

There seems to be a moderate number of reports with the same behaviour so unless someone thinks the opposite I'm going to merge those common reports.
