Bug Description

On the latest leb-panda builds, the system crashes when the display tries to sleep. If the display is set to never sleep in Settings > Applications > Development, the crash does not occur.

I've attached the relevant Minicom log.

I just build the LEB-panda flavour of the current (20110726) linaro_android_2.3.4 and also noticed that the kernel seems to crash in case the system idles for about 60 seconds. The serial output is a bit screwed:
https://pastebin.linaro.org/161/

The "Settings -> Application -> Development -> [x] Stay awake" workaround prevents the LEB from crashing

The non-LEB-panda (default.xml) doesn't seem to be affected.

This can also be done using the following command on the serial console:
svc power stayon true

Vishal reported in the last days suspend / resume is working in current TILT Panda LEB builds, the only issue is HDMI remains active during suspend which doesn't seem much of a problem. Subscribed Vishal to confirm.

The bug can changed to fix released as the suspend/resume seems to be working on the latest builds except for HDMI display not turning off

Do we know what caused the crash or the actual fix?
