Bug Description

SystemError: E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Installing 6.1 ubuntu desktop from live cd. Error code noted. Installation crashed.

Thanks for your report. Please provide the contents of the files in /var/log/installer directory as attachments.

You might as well delete my report. I have,unfortunately, returned to
windowsxp. I will try linux again next kernel.
