Bug Description

Following the design specifications details in section 2.1 of the 'Gnome 3 System Settings changes' specification https://docs.google.com/a/canonical.com/document/d/1ILTJDiDCd25Npt2AmgzF8aOnZZECxTfM0hvsbWT2BxA/edit?ndplr=1&pli=1#heading=h.jztfy8l5q9v5

      not clear enough (LP: #924253)

I use Gnome icon theme, I get "no image" icons. These icon should be put into a local hicolor tree, the same way that apps who ship icon do it

Tobias, that's due to this patch:

I filed bug #934335 asking to move the icons to hicolor, so other icon themes don't need to worry about all of this.

There is also probably a bug to file against gnome-control-center. I can totally understand doing it with the -directory suffix for now (because it's easier to manage and all that), but we shouldn't encourage applications to misuse icons.uffix for now (because it's easier to manage and all that), but we shouldn't encourage applications to misuse icons.
