ESyS-Particle 2.3.5 is the latest stable release of the source code as of 06 January 2017.

Changelog:

New features:
- Changes to the build system to prevent configuration failure on ubuntu-16.04 and later variant(s):
  * prevent C++ preprocessor linemarkers in CPP output;
  * update compiler versions information, to find the name of the mpic++ toolset;
  * adjust the 'configure' output for more useful information;
  * allow builds in the source tree with the --enable-docs option.
- Added two new interaction types: HertzMindlinInteraction and HertzMindlinViscoInteraction.
- Copyright dates update.

ESyS-Particle 2.3.4 is the latest stable release of the source code as of 16 June 2016.

Changelog:

New features:
-Added missing python wrapper for creating FrictionPrms tagged IGs.
-Changed bond insertion so that bonded interactions now are forced to have ordered particle IDs.
-Fixes issue with exclusion (see launchpad question 292662).
-Dynamic IGs can now also be excluders, not only bonded IGs.
-Added "distance" field to ExtractFractures VTK output - can be used to detect "circular" bonds being broken.
-EsyS-Particle 2.3.4 is under the Apahche License 2.0.

 - Added sphere body functionality

 - Fixed problem with accidentally changed build directory list in Tools/Makefile.am

 - Changes to the build system primarily to improve the tests for compatible Boost libraries and Python on systems that have multiple installations of Boost and Python.
