This release includes a number of improvements upon the mgui-1.0.4-alpha release (see the Changelog), addressing a number of issues defined in the mgui-core-1.0.0-beta release blueprint. It takes the project a step towards realizing the objectives for the beta release.

Please note that a number of the new functionalities are still experimental. The date of the beta release is still tentative, as a number of features have yet to be implemented or sufficiently tested.
