ModelGUI is a Java-based project intended as a both a stand-alone 2D/3D visualization and scientific modelling tool, and a fully extensible object-oriented API which can be used to create customized tools for specific fields of research. The project will provide source code licensed under the GPLv3, as well as community-reviewed standards for the extension and development of the API.
