PyEphem provides scientific-grade astronomical computations for the Python programming language. The project NO LONGER USES LAUNCHPAD because, while LaunchPad was an important part of the history of self-hosted projects back in the mid-2000s, its features no longer compete with those of more modern project hosting sites.
