Starting with the Queens release, ironic supports rescue operation - booting a ramdisk to recover a malfunctioning instance. Some minimum work will be required to support it in TripleO, mostly making sure our ramdisk supports the feature.
We seem to finally have HA bits in place, so we can start supporting ironic-inspector in the overcloud. The current plan involves switching to the new pxe_filter mechanism instead of iptables, though we can live with iptables for the time being as well.

The direct deploy method does not use iSCSI to provision an image. Instead, ironic-python-agent downloads it from Swift (which is expected to back Glance).
