I am the Washington DC area LoCo Team (http://dc.ubuntu-us.org/) leader and contact. We've placed Ubuntu in local libraries, subsidized housing projects, schools, and community non-profit agencies involved in political activism. We are currently establishing relationships with local businesses, enabling them to support Ubuntu. In addition, I'm one of the former co-editors on the Edubuntu Cookbook, as well as an author of some of the wiki documentation.
