Translation team for Anishinaabemowin (Ojibwe / Ojibwa / Ojibway / Odaawaa / Oji-Cree / Saulteaux).

Due to technical restrictions and practical considerations, it is necessary to begin work focusing on one dialect and orthography. This way we will be able to produce a more consistent end result, improve understanding of each others' work between translators, and avoid duplication of effort that could hurt the overall goals early on. Thus, it has been decided that work will initially use Southwestern Ojibwe (aka Chippewa), written in the Double Vowel (Fiero-Nichols) system. Once a sufficient base of work has been done, a sizeable team of translators assembled, and hopefully some improvements to the technical tools, we can expand into every dialect and writing system as we are able.
