Bug Description

I would like version 2.8.0 to be merged in Ubuntu Trusty. I have built and tested the library with a physical robot locally. I'm still new to the whole package merging process, so any tips would be appreciated. I am one of the upstream maintainers for this package.

per a conversation with cjwatson on IRC, the patch is still required for building on the build farm.

As mentioned on IRC, dropping the patch still causes the package to fail to build on Ubuntu.

This bug was fixed in the package libaria - 2.8.0+repack-1ubuntu1

  * Resynchronise with Debian (LP: #1243245). Remaining changes:
    - Link libAria.so with -lpthread -ldl -lrt, rather than passing those
      options only when linking the objects that are linked with libAria.

libaria (2.8.0+repack-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream version (2.8.0).
