We have asked the certification team to help us out and validate that the new u-boot doesn't regress any Pi devices. I just got news from Paul that the new u-boot seems to work fine on all the supported hardware.

Now the only thing left is the verification of LP: #1900693. Awaiting news from the snapd team regarding that.

Quick heads up: it has been brought to our attention that https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/u-boot/+bug/1906552 might be a potential regression caused by the new u-boot. Dave is investigating.
