"ConsoleSetup failed with exit code 10. ...." in ubiquity ubuntu-mid, german install trying to select an us keyboard

Could you run this with ubiquity --debug and post /var/log/installer/debug again? It's actually caused by the first run of console-setup failing (largely unnoticed), but I can't see why from this log.

I think this is because debconffilter doesn't reset the next_go_backup state when encountering a seen question in automatic mode.

for now it is worked around by preseeding the keymap in the -mid image to "us"
