I'd very much like this to tell me on stdout what it's doing; in particular I want to know which source and binary packages it's changed, and it would be useful for it to tell me when a binary package already had the component I requested. The katie tool teri had a good level of verbosity here.

I'm afraid it needs to be considered 'low' priority at this point, since there is also a lot of LP code standards to be satisfied in this script before we can improve the UI. It doesn't mean it won't be considered at all in the redesign process.

This bug has caused me to break Ubuntu more than once and not realise the problem for at least an hour (see bug 32135 for an example). Can I appeal for this to be considered higher-priority than satisfying code standards? I would be more than happy with a simple print to sys.stdout.
