Bug Description
=== SRU request ===
for karmic
--- Justification ---
Important function for an IDE (building from within the application) does not work. The fix is a 3-line change taken from upstream.
--- Development release ---
Fixed in lucid with version 0.27.4-0ubuntu2
--- How to verify ---
Start qdevelop with no open project and the "build"-button in the build menu is disabled. Make a project from a set of sources for a qt application, eg. the sources for qdevelop itself, and the "build"-button is still disabled.
Using the proposed version the "build"-button is disabled when starting the application without any project open; and the button is enabled when a project is opened.
--- Original bug description ---
Build or compile buttons in QDevelop are always disabled since upgrading to Karmic. This seems to be a well known bug in QDevelop ( see at http://
Karmic uses the package qdevelop 0.27.4-0ubuntu1 and also Jaunty uses a package qdevelop 0.27.4-0ubuntu1 but i did not have this bug in Jaunty.

This bug seems to be qt-version- dependent. Please ask maintainer to apply upstream patch for this issue.
