A distro-agnostic application management and software installation tool based on PackageKit.

This project has been superseded by Limba.

Listaller unifies the way you manage software on your Linux distribution, by providing an user-friendly application-centered software manager GUI.

We also provide a software setup package format (IPK-packages), which works on all Linux distributions and provide tools to make your application-binaries work on every distro. The package format is based on standards like DOAP (Description Of A Project RDF).

The project has merged with Autopackage some time ago.

One of Listaller's strengths is it's close integration with AppStream and PackageKit. This means that you will be able to manage Listaller-installed applications with your favourite package-manager, like GNOME-PackageKit, Apper or even the Ubuntu Software Center.

Listaller is primarily designed to be run on Linux distributions, but it might also work e.g. on *BSD if someone decides to work on integration.

Bugs & Feature Requests
Please report bugs in Launchpad using the 'Bugs' tab. Feature requests should go to 'Blueprints' (you can also create a bug if you have a patch for it)

If you would like to become involved in Listaller development, you can start off with fixing some bugs or implementing a new feature that is described in an Blueprint and decided as valid. You should also become a member of the Listaller-DevTeam. For Git access, just write an email to our mailinglist.

If you would like to create packages for Listaller, read the quickstart instructions: .
