Opus is a general-purpose, low-latency audio compression engine, suitable for interactive and streaming use of Music, Voice and Sound FX across digital networks. This is the reference implementation for the IETF standard, and the successor to the Xiph.org CELT project, combining that with Skype's SILK audio codec.
