xfi aims to be an intense, high-speed racing game. The vehicle is attracted to the course itself, enabling tracks that that go upside-down, on the inside and outside of tubes, etc. Built-in track editor.
Development is progressing well. Basic single-vehicle physics are in place, and the track editor is starting to come into existence.
You can currently do basic edits and then test drive on them.
Code builds and runs on Linux 32/64-bit (Makefile), Windows 32/64-bit (Visual Studio 2008), and Mac OSX (Makefile).
Code is compatible with g++, clang, and msvc.
Note that since the primary developer is a full-time student, development slows during quarters and picks up again during breaks.
