wrong shortcut in basic commands
 99:
 Moves to the <emphasis role="strong">b</emphasis>eginning of the previous or current word.
In the german version at least, b only moves to the previous letter.
(Ubuntu 7.10, german language pack)

ctrl + b does indeed move to the previous character, it's also probably not a shortcut worth documenting in my opinion. If no-one has any objections I'll remove it tomorrow.
