ubi-migrationassistant fails w/exit code 141

OK this time I chose to stay in the Live Desktop so I'll try to attach a few logs.

Thanks for testing! I also get this error. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as triaged and let them handle it from here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

Just to add some additional info, I was also affected by this bug during the test of a localized (ca_ES.UTF-8) Lucid pre-Alpha3 installation.

In my case this caused the language packs not to get installed , although the locale was set up correctly. I also noticed that the package information did not seem to be up-to-date, either, and there seemed to be a problem refreshing it from es.archive.ubuntu.com. Temporarily changing to the main archive seemed to solve that particular issue.

This bug was fixed in the package ubiquity - 2.1.26

Argh, I just had this rear it's ugly head with the i386 20100427.1 Live CD. I was performing an auto-resize install. Ubiquity version=2.2.23.

After "quitting" the install you can see what's mounted using "df":

Please stop commenting on this bug, it's an entirely unrelated issue to the problem you're having, and was definitely fixed in a previous release of the installer.
