Release notes:

Anoother release in a stable 2.x branch. Adds some long awaited features.

Fixes:

- lp:1182960 In geo-DR setup using garbd, performance degrades with node count when cross dc link is down.
- lp:1204241 GU_AVPHYS_SIZE can report more available memory than can be addressed on 32-bit systems (another overflow on 32-bit systems with more than 4Gb of RAM)

New Features:

- lp:1129512 Support for SST donors list. The comma-separated list is in order of preference, i.e. the first available (SYNCED) node in the list will be chosen. If no nodes from the list are present in the cluster, the node will abort unless there is a trailing comma, in which case the cluster will choose the donor out of available nodes automatically.

This is a bugfix release. Bugs fixed:

lp:1170821 - Concurrent FTWRL didn't work as expected. In fact the second FTWRL unlocked tables locked by the first.
lp:1184034 - port-scanning could crash a node
lp:1189526 - Galera could deadlock under heavy load
lp:1164992 - compilation with GCC 4.8 failed due to warnings
lp:1181347 - FIFO size calculations could overflow on 32-bit platforms with > 4GB virtual memory
lp:1153727 - a node could abort in the case of unexpected network error
lp:1166065 - if SST on the donor node failed, the node could stay in a DONOR state forever
lp:1188401 - Galera library deinitialization could deadlock and the node would hang on shutdown

23.2.4 release from the 2.x series released 2013-03-11

Release notes:

This is a major bugfix release. Fixed since 2.2:
- lp:1099546: inconsistent certification index purge (could lead to data inconsistency)
- lp:1080539: using high evs.send_window and evs.user_send_window settings could cause an exception
- lp:1108165: sometimes node failed to gracefully leave the cluster
- lp:1131736: build fails with new boost library (now it builds with boost_pool=0 option)
- lp:1133047: can't build galera on ARM architecture

Plus new experimental feature: weighted quorum (lp:1010225). Weight can be an integer in the range 0-255. Nodes with zero weight don't participate in quorum calculation. By default all nodes have weight 1.

Also more memory and performance optimizations and long awaited RHEL6 build.

23.2.0 release from the 2.x series released 2012-02-18

Release notes:

2.0 is the fist release in 2.x series which introduces Incremental State Transfer and shared key certification.

Incremental State Transfer (IST) is a non-blocking state transfer which substitutes State Snapshot Transfer (SST) in cases when node can synchronise with the cluster by replaying missing transactions. IST makes node remerge very fast in many situations. 'gcache.size' parameter (default: 128M) determines the amount of transactions that can be replayed.

Galera 2.0 is using wsrep API v23 and is binary incompatible with previous versions.

Galera 2.0 is protocol backward compatible with 1.1 and 1.2 versions: 2.0 node can be added to 1.1 cluster, but 1.1 node cannot be added to 2.0 cluster. New features become available only after full cluster upgrade.
